Strategic Objective

To achieve efficiency and sustainability for quality assurance projects of Phase I for 167 faculties and the continuous application of internal quality systems in all public faculties, universities and higher education institutes.

Specific Objectives

This project aims to

 Achieve the effectiveness and sustainability of applying internal quality assurance systems in the funded projects of the first phase.

 Follow up of annual performance reports for the faculties and issuing peer-reviewer reports (DE).

Support Quality assurance and accreditation centers in the Egyptian Universities.

  Emphasize the significance of leadership and governance in quality education systems.

  Adopt and apply national academic  reference standards in the educational programs (NARS).

 
Expected Outcomes

      Establish approved centers with organizational structure in all universities.

      Apply quality systems in faculties continuously to achieve accreditation from the national authority (NAQAAE).

      Develop advanced, innovative and competitive educational programs complying with international standards.

      Disseminate the culture and concepts of culture with the academic society Employ the forms and standards of the national authority for quality assurance and accreditation in preparing faculty annual reports.

      Increase the awareness of quality assurance and accreditation requirements within the academic milieu.

      Qualify faculties for accreditation through the application of standards set forth by the national authority for quality assurance and accreditation.

      Adopt and apply the national academic reference standards (NARS) prepared by the national authority for quality assurance and accreditation (NAQAAE) in various academic programs in the universities.

      Upgrade and improve the educational programs in view of the application of the academic standards (NARS).

      Accomplish quality assurance systems within the faculties and universities.

      Participate in instilling the concepts of leadership and governance in higher education institutes (HEI).

    Instigate policies for quality management and continuous improvement in higher education institutes.

      Establish an academic society that is convinced and synchronized with quality and accreditation requirements.
