By the implantation of the above objectives, the program is expected to:
Create an environment of competitiveness that will nurture and support continuous improvement in the faculties and the different departments
Encourage the decentralization of self improvement and sustainable development within the framework of the acceptable (legitimate) quality standards.
Upgrade capacity of the faculties and the academic society to accommodate contemporary scientific specializations, interdisciplinary and innovative fields.
Consolidate the culture of quality in academic development and adopting the concepts of comprehensive quality as a fundamental component in the strategic planning
Reinforce relationships and associations between higher education institutes, society, industry and the labor market.
Maximize and support the benefit form the available information systems, data sources, laboratories and infrastructure.
Utilize contemporary technologies in teaching and learning.
Improve the quality of the graduates and enhance their competitive capabilities on the local, regional and international levels
Upgrade the quality of scientific research and enhance its ability to respond to the needs of society and the development of industry and the environment
Qualify 90 faculties to apply for and obtain accreditation from the National authority for quality assurance and accreditation for education
Obtain accreditation for 80-100 laboratories within the Higher Education Institutes.
Improve and prepare 100-120 academic programs in the Higher Education Institutes for accreditation.
Enhance and develop student assessment and evaluation in (80-100) of the Higher Education Institutes.
The program comprises several projects that illustrate effectiveness and transparency to fund, support and stimulate university faculties to attain a prominent degree of quality, suitability and efficiency, to qualify for accreditation.
Faculties submit an action plan aimed at specified development based on the annual evaluation reports, the peer reviewing reports and the SWOT analysis and complying with an approved strategic plan for improving the faculty.
The PCIQA sets the rules and criteria for submission, evaluation and selection criteria for the submitted action plans from the faculties.
Monitoring and evaluation mechanisms are set for the accepted action plans.
The program provides databases and pre-studies as well as conducting regular progress reports. In addition, the program also conducts impact assessment studies on faculty, university and higher education system level

Number of applying and accepted faculties to the project

Capable bodies trained and qualified to perform the duties of planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
The strategic plans that were prepared, adopted and applied by the faculties
The extent of direct and indirect collaboration between the faculty, and production and service sectors and society in terms of academic program and research development
The scope of the achieved development and the extent of ensuring its sustainability (human resources, financial and institutional)
Reference academic and institutional standards set forth by the faculty
Number of qualified faculties that have applied and awarded accreditation
Impact Assessment Indicators and Evaluating the Outcome of Accomplished Program Objectives:
The extent of suitability of the graduates and research activities of faculties that have executed upgrading projects to the requirement of quality, accreditation and the needs of development
Competitive capacity of the faculty academically on the local and global levels
The extent of independence and self reliance on part of the faculty for continuous improvement
The level of satisfaction of the graduates and society of methodology of development adopted by the faculty and its impact
